USTVGO fully titled the United States - USTVGO TV Online is a free multimedia mobile app that lets you watch American channels outside of the country. This free live TV app offers over 80 free channels being aired in the US—complete with commercial breaks. Take note, however, that you should use a VPN in conjunction with the app.
Unfortunately, the mobile version of USTVGO is a bit under-optimized compared to the original website version. If you wish to check out better streaming app alternatives for android, try Sky Go, Tata Sky, or Sony Max TV.
How do I get USTVGO?
By simply installing the USTVGO app, you can start watching live channels. It recommends that you get a VPN app first though, to protect yourself as you watch from another location. Nonetheless, you can begin checking out the channels without it and jump right in the middle of the shows as you would with TV. The main menu is a bit bland with a plain white page containing six cartoony icons for several sections: Entertainment, Sports, News, Kids, TV Guide, and New App.
The first four sections present the available channels under their category, complete with the channels’ logos. The TV Guide only shows all of the channels in alphabetical order. Meanwhile, New App redirects you to the download page of this developer’s other app, USTV 247. Like most live TV apps, you'll get commercials playing on the channels. There’s no way to skip them. Moreover, don’t expect a lot of video options when you watch. The most you can do is put the video in fullscreen mode.
Wide range of TV channels to stream
In the News section of USTVGO, it is able to compile impressive streaming links from well-known USA News channels like One America News Network, The Weather Channel, MSNBC, CNBC, Fox News, and CNN. This section allows you to get your daily dose of world updates even when you're on the go. A variety of fun shows can be watched under the Entertainment section including Cinemax, E!, GSN, Destination America, MTV, Lifetime Movies, DIY Network, Paramount Network, Sundance TV, Telemundo, and so much more.
If you are a huge sports fan, you will also enjoy the huge library of sports channels it displays from ACC Network, NFL RedZone, Olympic Channel, ESPN, CBS Sports Network, WWE Network, Fox Sports. NBC Sports, NBA TV, MLB Network, Tennis Channel, to Golf Channel. On the other hand, if you have kids, you can nurture their knowledge by playing TV content that's centered to give them interactive education such as DisneyJr, Nicktoons, Disney Channel, Nickelodeon, and Cartoon Network.
Mediocre performance
All in all, USTVGO works well enough for what it’s intended for, but it can fall short of how the website version performs. Most of the channels load right, but some can freeze. The interface is also quite uninspiring, and there’s also the lack of more video options such as resolution and captions. If you’re looking for a more stable version while not on the go, its website is a better choice.
